Well yesterday the pcso came up in the afternoon. She said at that time of morning she was in bed - she finished at 10pm but if something like that happened again to ring the police station. I said that is what i did and she asked if they had come and i said no told her about the police car coming down rising bridge road but it didnt come along the main road. She did say though she didnt want me to think that she'd forgotten that id rang and that she wasnt bothered. You know how i said i was having problems with the kids round here and i had the police up here one day, she told me to ring if there was any more trouble. Well last night, well this morning at 12.40 am i rang the police. Just reading the thread about the elections asking if anyone had the prospective candidates knocking on their door brings back memories of my canvassing. I have only once been canvassing this year, have been ill this last week so havent been out much. As most of you know im a labour supporter and have been since i was at school. Anyway can remember once i was out canvassing and my sister was standing for election. By the way she was a councillor and a very good one. Id come straight from work because it was easier to get to from work than from home, and it was chucking it down, id been in work since before 8am and i didnt leave till after 6pm that night, had nothing to eat, was starving and id had hassle all night long from people who's...

Anyway i sent the package to spug - some hoover bags cos he couldnt get any up there to fit his hoover. He even sent me a pic of it on my mobile so i knew which ones to get!!! I also threw some strawberry licorice in for him - i didnt know if he liked it or not but if he didnt his daughter might like it failing that he could send it back i love it. I sent a pressie for his daughter as well a charm for her phone. Sent it thursday - was hoping it would get there on friday morning but it didnt. It got there this morning - dont know how they got it through his letterbox seeing as it was all sent in a large jiffybag...

I've been feeling rotten for the last couple of days. Thought it was a spring cold coming on when i got the shivering on tuesday and i mean this - i had goosebumps the size of lumps on my face. Then i started sneezing. Then tuesday night the sore throat started. It was bad i could hardly swallow and no buttercup syrup in the house, no tunes, but i had lemsips. So had one of them and hoped it would kick in and i'd be fine for work on wednesday. Goes to bed shivering under the covers with a hot water bottle. Wednesday morning a phone call at 8.15 got a grunt. Fell back asleep. Woke up again at 9.25am - im due to be at work at 10. Sat up and went dizzy and tried to talk .. try being the operative word!!!
