I havent been doing much. Been to work, been shopping, been on here .... not much. Anyway i knew the garden needed doing again the thistles had grew again!!!

Plus i've only got a couple of daffodils left so i knew i had to get some more and plant them ready for next year. Anyway was in tesco last week shopping and got some bulbs - not daffodils though, i got some bluebells, iris's and snowdrops - so guess what spugs doing when he comes down!!! He dont know yet - keep telling him i've got jobs for him but wont tell him what hes doing!!!

Anyway i'd got half of the front garden done, i just had to do the other half - the bit where the thistles are. So sunday started doing it. Stung left right and centre, and...

Reading westenders blog about her brother made me laugh. So thought i'd tell you about my day with my brother. He's older than me - he was 49 last week and wind him up about his age seeing as he'll be 50 next year ......

Monday im still in bed ... and my mobile goes. Its my brother - "can i come and use your phone?" "Yeah give me half an hour and come down" - "im outside right now!!!" He should have been at work - well i thought he should have but turns out hes on holiday from work. I stuck the kettle on and he sat down and said wheres the phone - which is a very good question - when you have one of them cordless ones .. I said ring it - when it rings i'll find it. So he makes his call and the kettles...

Well im recovering bit by bit. Am sat here watching the last night of the proms. I used to sit and watch it with my mum every year and i've carried on with watching it. Its only the last night that she used to watch. It would be an experience to go to the last night - down at the albert hall, not to the park ones that they have now.

Anyway what have i done - not much this week seeing as ive been recovering. It is hard typing this - my little finger is hurting - so a's etc are hurting my finger!!! Tidied up the house after spug had gone home. No rain today so i've done a little bit of weeding on the front, have to wait for it all to dry out before i can attack it properly. Good job spug was here today.... he caught me!!! I had another fit today and he caught me and put me on the floor. So for a change only a bit tongue - no broken nose, no bruising .. He goes back tomorrow though Im going to miss him. He looked after me as well.

....... well not right now hes not. Hes gone to visit his mum. Ive stayed at home to make the tea.

Anyway everything was tidy when he arrived and he did have a bed to sleep in. So what have we done since friday. Well he got cissy greens meat pies for his tea/supper - no mushy peas. Then Chav came up.

Saturday afternoon we were at hassy street fair. It was sunny and people were up and down the street and everyone was having a good time. Then the heavens opened - never seen a street empty as fast!!! Anyway we packed up about half 3 and went down town. Spug got a new pair of trainers and we got some shopping, then came home.
