Ok as posted before i was going to Preston Royal today to see the neurologist appointment time 2.50. Well i had an appointment this morning at 10.15 - that over run - caught the bus at 12noon to come home for some dinner and a brew and ring spug and find out what time and most important what day he was coming down on. Gets home about ten past 12 - note the train is at five past 1 to preston. Starts getting my dinner - thought i'll ring spug and find out what time hes coming and what day. He told me last night that he would be going down first thing in the morning to the train station..... lazy ****** had just got up! He said i'll ring or text you when i go down - he wasnt happy mainly because he knew he was going to get soaked...

Have you noticed something? Now christmas has passed the days seem to be getting longer. I didnt put the light on till 5 before xmas it was going on at 4.15/4.30!!! Thats how i can tell springs on its way - what time i put the living room light on.

Havent done much this week - not after seeing spug off last monday. Stayed in bed on wednesday after throwing up and went into work on Thursday instead. Friday knew i had something on but couldnt remember what it was and still cant. Tomorrow im going to have great fun - im at Preston Royal tomorrow afternoon - so if anyone sees me running thro town tomorrow about five to one dont stop me - i got to be on that train at five past otherwise i'll be late.

Well hes gone back. The alarms went off one at 6.30 and the other at 6.45 to get us up to make sure he was on that train back. Good job to after what happened. I went with him to Preston. We got down accy and the train was late - the 7.41 so we caught that, the train had to slow down going through rishton because of flooding on the line. We got into Preston about 8.45, spugs train was at 9.18 and the 8.05 train from accy was just pulling in at the same time as his glasgow one. Anyway off he went home and i was catching the 9.36 home. This time it was daylight and you could see all the fields that were flooded. Theres a lake just before rishton where there are a few boats and when i went through in summer it was nearly empty today it was nearly...

He promised me a maccy dees breakfast ... and i didnt get it - he slept right through a dig in the ribs didnt wake him up either!!! Now im just winding him up .... everytime he looks at me i just mention maccy dees breakfast..

He got down here eventually, when he got on the train at Preston he was supposed to be catching a bus to Accrington from Blackburn, anyway when he got on the train the guard said that it was stopping at Accrington. So he landed here about 11am cos he missed the bus in Accy town centre - i told him he had to run to catch it but did he listen!! He was tired and made him a brew with double helpings of coffee in it to keep him awake. Told him to go to bed but didnt work so depended on the coffee to keep...

Spugs coming down!!! Tomorrow. He's only here till Monday am - hes catching the 8am train from Accy. He'll be at my house about 11am hopefully a bit sooner it depends on the bus up if he just misses one seeing as they are only every 15 mins on a saturday. Anyway that was my good news. He told me not to tell anyone, thanks Gayle, Macca, Cashy and Mel for not saying owt. I had to tell 3 of em cos we are going to accy stanley tomorrow. Cashy got told in the chatroom. Was hoping he could get a couple of days off and stay down longer but he cant so he'll land back home about 1pm and back in work at 4pm. But looking at the weather thread it says theres a severe weather warning for sunday and monday in the northwest. The only problem is having...
