Have had the flu for the last week ... wednesday downgraded it to a bad cold .... wednesday i had to go to the docs at 4.30 .... at 4.30 i was in bed!!!! Well thats where i was when i came round!!! Had another fit and my face is a mess. Have carpet burns that run the length of my nose, underneath my nose, under my eye and a big graze and bump on my forehead. I do make a lovely picture!!!! It hurts to smile, spuggie said the pic i sent him made it look like a mugger had got hold of me. At least he cant see my face in real life. Then he would do his nut in!!!

I've been rough. Started last tuesday sneezed a bit ..... but just thought it was a cold coming back after i'd been out friday night and also going out on monday night in and out of the pub for a ciggie ... Anyway wednesday took a pack of tissues in with me to work - and i'd used them all by 2pm!!! Sneezing awful. Goes to sisters after work - it was her hubbys birthday on wednesday - and i took his card and pressie round. He was off work ill - cellulitis - and i just hope i didnt give him this!! Leaves that sisters - and goes round to the other sisters - she said she'd make my tea - and sweet talked my nephew into making me a brew. The crazy dog was there but he was limping he'd bashed his leg jumping off the window and sis had took him...

Didnt realise how long it is since i'd done this. Shows the brains not in gear ... mind you is it ever?

So what have i been doing? Played pool twice and got beat twice ....... which is nowt new - and i've got entwisi's pool cue which is propped up against the settee - I HAVENT BROKEN IT YET ENTWISI its still safe so far..... The first week of us playing pool entwisi dropped me off at bash con - on my way down on the bus i'd seen my brother outside having a cigar and as he plays for rising bridge/bash con b - i knew i could scrounge a lift of him home. So the cost of little sis coming to watch him play pool - 2 orange and sodas and a lift home - cost to little sis - a pan of broth on thursday night!!!! It would have...

Well feeling better today. Had a hot toddy last night/this morning and seems to have done the trick. Another one tonight before i go to bed will hopefully get rid of it.

Fellas are numbskulls arent they? Tell you spug's flipping hopeless. He rides his pushbike to work and back home again ... as its darkish he needs the lights on his bike to work. Well the numbskull left his lights on his bike .... now the batteries have ran down and until he gets new batteries he cant use his bike to go to work. So tomorrow hes on shank's pony and the bus ... then when hes on his way home call in the asda and get new ones.

By the way he hasnt got this cold - he's crowing about that up there saying well im fine. Seems like...

I've got a cold and its not shifting ... Spugs gone back up the road so i havent got my nurse either i just hope i havent given it him before he went back. I started sneezing on monday, tuesday the consultant was telling me that if i catch an infection i could have a fit and im sneezing away in his office!!!

Thursday night the coughing started ... so friday went out looking for barnips and lemons. I had to go up hassy to go and pick a prescription up because the consultant had upped the tablets and not gave me any extra and i was coming to the end of my prescription. So goes up hassy and went to what was espleys they used to sell barnips - no go - they said the firm that makes them the machine they use to wrap them keeps...
