Well im recovering bit by bit. Am sat here watching the last night of the proms. I used to sit and watch it with my mum every year and i've carried on with watching it. Its only the last night that she used to watch. It would be an experience to go to the last night - down at the albert hall, not to the park ones that they have now.

Anyway what have i done - not much this week seeing as ive been recovering. It is hard typing this - my little finger is hurting - so a's etc are hurting my finger!!! Tidied up the house after spug had gone home. No rain today so i've done a little bit of weeding on the front, have to wait for it all to dry out before i can attack it properly. Good job spug was here today.... he caught me!!! I had another fit today and he caught me and put me on the floor. So for a change only a bit tongue - no broken nose, no bruising .. He goes back tomorrow though Im going to miss him. He looked after me as well.

....... well not right now hes not. Hes gone to visit his mum. Ive stayed at home to make the tea.

Anyway everything was tidy when he arrived and he did have a bed to sleep in. So what have we done since friday. Well he got cissy greens meat pies for his tea/supper - no mushy peas. Then Chav came up.

Saturday afternoon we were at hassy street fair. It was sunny and people were up and down the street and everyone was having a good time. Then the heavens opened - never seen a street empty as fast!!! Anyway we packed up about half 3 and went down town. Spug got a new pair of trainers and we got some shopping, then came home.

In about 2hrs time i will have spug knocking on my door - the house is a tip seeing as today i said to him do you want cissy greens meat pies for your supper the man from grangemouth he say yeah went up hassy for them, been down accy and having to wait ages for a bus back home and then 2 arrived together ......... with any luck he may just have a bed to sleep in tonight ....

Otherwise all is well in shillelagh towers .......... the broken nose is healing very well its not as tender now when i blow the nose!!! Hassy street fair tomorrow - its going to be wet!!!!

well the bruisings gone down but ive managed to catch a cold - and ive decided a broken nose and sneezing does not go together.

Babysat tonight the first time i've babysat for a few years and it was brilliant. They went off to bed when told, i read them both a story and off to sleep and didnt wake up. Oh what a change from kidsitting my nephews - the stories of them little sods!!!! And thats putting it politely. Mind you my youngest nephew did a cracker in his exams - he got 1 A* in RE, a A in Maths and the rest of the 13 he took he got B's and C's. He did well. And i found out before him because he was on holiday with my brother and his daughter in cornwall - and my brother had lost the phone number my sister had given him!...
