Well what a week ive had!!! Sky fitted tuesday - casualty at fairfield Thursday!!!! And still here friday when i should have been going up to Grangemouth for the weekend!!! Ok back to Thursday. Me and spug had been planning this seeing as it was his birthday on wednesday for me to go up this week.... then it went down to going up for the weekend.... due to sky and job hunting on his part. As i didnt know when to come back we'd been hanging on and hanging on and thursday we gave up and that was it was going to go down to train station and buy the ticket up there and come back sunday. I was going out for my lunch to the duke of welly with a friend of mine and when i came back was going to go down town to train station and get the ticket....

Have had a few busy days - if anything else has gone wrong - its gone wrong with knobs on. Ok i ordered sky on friday.... the tv installer came today ... i am now sitting at my computer with the modem sitting in the middle of the floor and wires everywhere. The computer was moved to the opposite corner, the tv was moved to the corner were the computer was and the house is a tip. but i have sky - with the card not registered seeing as i had the telephone preference service on my phone line and it was cocking up the server on the sky box... Well as you all know it was my sisters birthday on Tuesday. I legged it down town on tuesday afternoon after waiting for a phone call that didnt ring and got her numerous pressies... I ended up getting her a bottle of sanatogen 50+ multi vitamins, a jar of anti wrinkle cream from boots. Thanks Lindsay - i thought it was you thats why i introduced myself!!! I got a clip frame from the poundshop - seeing as i thought id get it thrown at me when she saw the pics that i put in it, i put a load of the worst photos of her i had shrunk them down and printed them out on an A4 sheet and put happy 50th birthday diane at the top, a mug saying she'd hit a milestone birthday, a badge saying i am 50, and her proper pressie was a necklace from m&s...

Well got beat at pool again - im getting worse... I must be doing good though - they asked if i wanted to sign up for the winter season!!! Done sisters 50th birthday card lovely couple of pictures on it. One on xmas day when she was fast asleep on the front - the other when she was partying in dublin and a nice verse - with picture of a fire extinguisher... thank god for publisher and the verses theyve got. Some of you may know her - she used to work in accrington library in the reference department. Just now to get her birthday pressie and leaflets from age concern seeing as shes 50. Im hopeless - i know that its nowt new to all of you accywebbers but im now sat here in pain.

This afternoon after waking spug up and getting the grunt from him, and the phone call from a neighbour which i wished her happy birthday and agreed to have her cat tonight and then went over to take her pressie and card over and a brew and chat, as it stayed fine (according to the weather forecast it was supposed to chuck it down today and look at it - its been lovely and sunny and warm) i decided id cut the grass in the back garden. Now spug last year thought it wouldnt take long - well he soon found out what its like!!!
