Trying to make a dream come true.
As a competitive Archer and Archery coach it is my dream to set up an archery school in the hope of introducing young people and their families into the sport, with the possibility of the next Olympic hopeful for the 2012 Olympics coming from Hyndburn.
The sport teaches concentration skills, hand eye coordination, respect and etiquette in a very safe and controlled environment.
Children with ADHD that I have observed, whilst enjoying the sport have shown vastly improved levels of concentration and manual dexterity during the lessons.
Many who have taken up archery both young and older have enjoyed the sport and I have practiced with a range of other archers...
