Been a while ........

Well, well, well were back in action. I have spent 2 days catching up in the blog department. I have enjoyed it though, always enjoy Margaret's blogs

Well Christmas was a ball's up. When I finished work in October, I planned my Christmas right down to the last letter.
I was really looking forward to it, as I have never been able to spend a full Christmas with my boys because of work commitments. Well all this fell through before Christmas with family problems yet again. Now if my family are good at just one thing its PROBLEMS.

So at that little lot sorted itself out just before Christmas started, then Christmas eve started with the dreaded bug that had reared it's ugly head. Pulled myself together on Christmas day and managed to keep spirits up for the kids ( helped along by a few whiskey all in's) purely medicinal purposes you understand Then came new year .... I was so whacked from the bug that, New years eve saw me curled up on sofa with a coffee and a film for me, ginger and kids to watch. Then yes, New years day, I was loads better, just my bloody luck, but by this time I had totally given up on all the festive cheer bull and decided to take all trimmings down and call it a day.

SO January.

Well, not a bad start to the New year. Ginger hasn't been well for the past year, but we got some encouraging news, so that was fantastic.

We have finally ( I say we I mean Ginger ) has taken the plunge and booked a holiday to Alcudia in May. It's a first time flying thing for Ginger and he is quietly bricking it, But me, I can't wait.
We are going with 2 friends of ours and their 2 children. I am secretly awaiting the sales to start on Bikini's
So I have been a busy bee this week sorting out passports for the skids but that is all done and hopefully they should arrive within the next week or so.

So apart from that nothing new, the new year seems ( touch wood ) to be going smoothly ..... but all that could change in a heart beat ( ever the optimist )

only 14 weeks and 6 days to go til may though so I'll look on the bright side
