Leaving on a Jet plane!!

Don't know when i'll be back again .... well that's not strictly true, I knew I would be back in a week

Anyway, thursday morning arrived. Cases packed, kids bathed and ready to leave, me showered and ready to go and ginger also ready ( for a change )

My friends had brought all their cases to our house, as mini bus was picking us up from our house.

4 kids and 4 adults all fussing around in my living room ..... crikey it was a good job I was in a good mood.

Mini bus came at 12pm, cases and everyone all in place - off we go!!

Got to Manchester and there was no queue for luggage so we just sent our luggage on its marry way and went through security!!
Everyone was sailing through security, and I go through BEEP BEEP Off comes the shoes and socks, and a nice little search was done. Not to worry, the lady was nice enough and 10 secs later, I was on my way again.

We all got drinks and snacks, then went and sat in the lounge, watching all the other planes taking off!! Ginger looked a bit green But me and kids were loving it.

Our flight was called 20 minutes late ( which was better than some ) so we all queued up with boarding passes and passports, waiting to board our flight.

We walked down the tunnel to our plane ( which I was glad about, Ginger didn't really get chance to think about the plane this way ) and was shown to our seats. I sat with my boys, Ginger sat with his mate M just behind us and my friend sat with her girls across the lane from us.

We got comfy in our seats, and put belts on... While I was keeping a secret eye on Ginger We listened to all the safety talk that the hostesses gave (( while I Sat counting how many Isles back from the emergency exit we were - thanks for that tip Boeing Guy )) .......... The engines roared and we got ready for take off!!
