sleepless nights and days off sick.

Posted 04-04-2005 at 16:45 by slinky

Well I have been a naughty girl today and threw a sicky..........I know what your all saying.........but hey I don't do it often and I do have a banging head ache that I can't get rid of. Spent the whole day just having me time (kids back at school today) and I have loved it. Planning on a nice relaxful evening tonight just me, dressing gown, wine and telly.........oh and hubby if need be lmao.
He spent all last night snoring and kept me awake until 3:30am this morning then had to be up with kids at 7:30am, I know he can't help snoring but that doesn't help me not wanting to beat his brains in with the bed side lamp when he is doing it either. I thought ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have some ear plugs that I can use, but then thought ''but how do I hear the alarm clock in the morning when he has gone to work''. I was contemplating going and getting on the sofa but must have fallen asleep while thinking about it. Obviously today he came home from work and said '' you lok tired'' I just gave him one of my ''don't p'ss me off'' looks and explained about his snoring all night, obviously the same old comment ''I DON'T SNORE'' came out of his mouth. He actually can't say that anymore because I got that sick of him saying that he didn't snore and saying I was making it up that I recorded him snoring with my mobile phone one night and let him listen, he just chuckled which sparked one of my ''DON'T P'SS ME OFF'' looks again. One day the URGE to suffocate him with the pillow will become too please if you ever hear of me murdering my husband with a pillow, please come and verify that it was for a good reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway I have told him that he is not aloowed to go to sleep before me tonight. Because If I am asleep it doesn't wake me up (jumbo jet wouldn't manage that one) it is just if I am awake and trying to get to sleep that is impossible. Anyway enough of the good seeya all soon.

Slinky, my ubby was complaining to my mum one day that I snored and kept him awake.......she said to him.......'Her dad used to snore.........I lie awake now at 3am wishing I could hear him snoring beside me because it would mean he was still day you'll be grateful to have somebody next to you snoring'

My hubby snores too......but that doesn't count and I never tell him about it.
