work, work, work

Posted 16-08-2005 at 12:04 by slinky
Well what a week!!!!!! I worked all weekend, then yesterday I was meant to be on a training course (incontinence training!!!NICE)........then today at 2pm I have to go into work for a staff meeting, then I am working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Well yesterday i thought!! "no way am I going in for that training course" that would mean all week I would have been in work for one reason or another. PLUS it is school holidays, no-one wants to look after 2 more kids for a day. The Boss at my works has no children (and boy can you tell).
Not that I did anything exciting with my only day off. I managed to get through some much needed washing that had appeared from nowhere, had a brew with tinks, then the day seemed to fly.
Before I knew it hubby was home and we were down at Asda.
I don't actually mind the weeks flying by, it means that weekend will be here soon enough then I can spend time with hubby. But what does annoy me is how quick even the weekend fly by.
Each week seems to be merging, Christmas is fast approaching AGAIN!!!!!!.
Well I don't have a driving lesson this week because my instructor is off on his hols.................with drawl has set in. My next one is next Monday morning.
Well been having some late nights recently. I am reading some Virginia Andrews books at the moment. I have finished Heaven and Dark Angel, now I am onto the 3rd one which is Fallen Hearts.
Found it difficult to get into Heaven at first but now I cant put the bloody things down.
I read all the Logan series, which where fantastic and I have read Flowers in the attic which are the best books that I have EVER read. I have actually read them twice. The first time I read them I was 8 month pregnant with my first baby. Hormones were sky high and every night I sat there reading and crying at the same time.
Anyway that enough from me, better get ready to go to work for the BRILLIANT staff meeting.
