Here, there, or where?

Well I have had a "Paul McKenna day" today but I'm still not sure if I can really tell when I'm hungry or when I'm full. Had a yearning for a Coronation chicken sandwich this morning so got myself one for lunch which was very nice but very mouthwateringish and hard to eat slowly. Put you food down between mouthfulls he'd said so I did and lumps promptly fell out! Maybe that's part of the plan so you end up eating less?

Sort of didn't have any tea because I was going out to Relief Society Enrichment night. That's female members of the church 18 and over who get together once a month to do stuff. Sometimes we get together more than once a month to do even more stuff. Tonight we were mending hymn books which sounds very boring unless you meet us lot and then you realise than we are all quite mad and not much mending got done, mainly because we didn't have the appropriate equipment. We did have sellotape which wouldn't stick and double sided tape which would only stick to itself and spray adhesive that if we'd used much more of somebody would have had to come and peel us all of the ceiling!

We had carrot & coriander soup with cheese and biscuits. I couldn't make my mind up if I wanted a hot choccy or not so in the end I didn't bother.

Somehow I manage to have volunteered to teach people to do origami and make boxes, corn dollies and dreamcatchers (not all at the same time I hasten to add). I remember the last time we did corn dollies it was hysterical because people just didn't manage to make hollow lanterns and got their corn far too soggy so ended up with things which more resembled limp snakes. I shall do somethng simpler next time.

I was taught to make dreamcatchers by my Shoshone "sister" and the official instructions begin "Hunt for a buffalo". I think we'll bypass that stage.

So, not sure if I've eaten more or less than usual today but I'm not hungry and it's been an interesting day.

I have decided to continue my tales of Tunisia in this thread because this was where I started and I'd got about halfway through and posted some photos too.

The night before we flew out we stayed in the Hilton at Manchester Airport (which I don't recommend) and had a bit of fun with the fridge in the room because we couldn't see what things were as it was in a sort of darkened corner round behind the passageway to the bathroom so Busman took somethng out to see what it was and if he wanted it, then realised that he didn't so he put it back. Then he thought, did that register as having been consumed? So he took it out again and then put it back again! By that time I figured we'd already paid for it twice so we might as well have it so he took ot out again (that made three times!) It was a rather nondescript bottle of water so we decided to really push the boat out and eat all the nuts as well.

Apart from the fridge we weren't impressed by the bed because it was anything but comfortable. A food tray was left in the corridor outside the room next to ours and it stayed there all night. The bar closed early that night too so all we had to drink was that flippin bottle of water from out of the fridge.
