Mac OS Security Issue

I saw this on an another forum and thought it worth sharing just in case there are any Mac users on here.
Anyone with access to a Mac running the High Sierra Operating System can gain access by using the user name "Root" and leave the password blank.

There is a fix here.

Re: Mac OS Security Issue

I assume it’s only with the High Sierra O/S that you can access the computer in that method.
It doesn’t work with Yosemite on my Mac.
But thanks for posting the information.
