Hmmm... is there anything else?
New to this forum so please be kind!! I'm hopefully monving into Ossie in around the next 6 to 8 weeks (all being well) and other than a few Pro's knocking around is there anything else that I should be aware of? Like what pub not to drink in, what take away to avoid any info that maybe of some help to me. Cheers and hopefully chat soon.

seriously there's loads of great things about Ossy, number one being the people, they'll do anything for you [even when you don't want them too!] As for advice on Pubs, there are some 'rougher' ones, which l've always found to be very friendly when l've crossed their threshold. Best meat pies- Martin's Confectioner's on Union road. Bit of nepotism there as it's my brother's, but it's been selling 'em for nearly 70 years. Also does new fangled paninis, ciabatta's etc if you like fancy foriegn muck.

Hi Rob welcome to Accyweb, Ossy's nice im sure u'll be ok when u get to know a few ppl, did apply to move to ossy myself but they didnt want me so was stuck in Accy altho thats not so bad

See l really am nosey and checked your profile and saw you were one of the Cheshire set pushing up the prices for poor Gobbiners, [only joking.] If you tell me the area your moving to [no numbers-beware stalkers! Lol.] l'll give you a rundown on any amenities and good pubs near by, and also warn you if you're going to live near any of us! Don't go near the Park if you have a car, it'll end in tears!
