New Lane School
What a shame we have to lose yet another peice of Oswaldtwistle history with the demolition of the old church hall on New Lane, and how our councillors Hayes and Britcliffe think its great that an old sandstone building steeped in history is being replaced by houses. They call the building run down and delapidated, I wonder who let it get to into that state? What a shame.

Perhaps it's because it's opposite Peter's house, and he thinks he'll have a better view when it's demolished between the new houses.
It does seem a shame that it couldn't be saved, like the Sunday school on the otherside of New Lane.
