these are brill Post cards Staggeringman --- the last one I can't Place is there a name on the back mom thinks it's round John street near some pens that was there at the time she not sure .

not so sure it might be looking up to the bridge,if you look at it long enough you can imagine it being the main bridge down by the firestation, up at straits for a pint tonight so will have a nosy!

Is the last one not, what is now the link road between High street and Fern Gore, the house on the right of the photo is still there ?

how about SMITHY BRiDGE top end of ossy looks something like it Cottages on the left hand side going up only thing is the Building cross the other side can't think of it there is new houses there now what you guys think

omg look at the black dog pub on that first pic, with new lane opposite, the pub does look smaller too, and thst thing on the roof is no longer there!!

come across a postcard with this on, it has to be originally hand drawn and then printed wish i had the original.after looking at the tower in the first piccie and this hand drawn its obvious to see that a lot of people used to draw / paint this tower and all at differant angles.

ya it's nice one that be good to know who did it as well they may have more there was band stand at the other side OF THE TOWER Mom telling me they had many a nice sunday afternoon listening to the bands play cool EH
