Pint over Peter
Who is the mystery avenger?
He walked into the Stop & Rest, bought a pint of Guinness, walked up to Peter Britcliffe's Quiz team (a paradox in itself). Said "Are you Peter Britcliffe?" to which the erstwhile PB replied, "Yes." only to then be showered by a pint of Guinness. The Avenger then left. Waste of a good pint. Well who has PB upset that much? Proberly most of the bourgh me thinks. A bit OTT but if this "alledged" avenger was mad enough then owt will
happen. This "alledged" event could have been a publicity stunt prior to Thursdays elections.

As far as I know PB doesn't have a team in the Stop's Quiz night, which incidentally is on Wednesdays.

If it did happen, which none of the Stop regular's can verify, perhaps it wasn't an act of political anarchy, but some thing to do with affairs of the heart? Lover scourned and all that.
