Re: coronation street girls

And they should be allowed to keep them as well…….soaps that is?

I take your point Becki and they have a right to be seen as local made good, but they are not good actresses are they and would we what to admit to knowing of these individuals…yuk. I wouldn’t. They should get proper jobs and return our TV screens back to real life programming. Just an opinion.

What's eastenders and emmerdale? I wash with soap!

Nah...I'm being unfair to you.....course I've heard of them, but never watch them.

If you think they are the right sort of characters for Accy Hall of Fame...you say so!

But are they world famous?

You are thinking of Elmfield Street becki, my mum lived next door to julie and her mum and dad untill she died. I have known julie since she was little, but have not seen her much as she now lives in manchester with her partner and child.

Other Accrington talent includes Mina Anwar. Brought up in Church with her family, she has been in sitcoms and sketch shows. Played Constable Habib in Rowan Atkinson's Thin Blue Line, is now working alongside Ade Edmondson. Starred with Sarah Lancashire in the drama Birthday Girl. I was best mates with her older sister as a child, and Mina was our Grego's best mate.
