At the time it was on TV I heard she was an Ossy lass - on the left in the photo

Polly James was engaged to my Uncle Brian, a Church Lad who spent is life in the Royal Navy serving on Nuclear Subs. He was to later die of Cancer. When they broke up she was alleged to throw his ring from the back of ferry into the Mersey, or so family legend says.

Yes - she is an ossie lass. She used to shop from time to time in asda when I worked there - about 7 years ago - as did Vicki Entwistle (Corrie)

She used to got in the Stop and Rest for lunch with her parents a while back, not sure whether they are still alive, seem to think her father died quite a few years ago, but ain't heard about her mother for years now
