Theres only one plastic team in the prem and its quite a way from Liverpool although they do sport a red strip

It was a lovely ceremony when Ron was awarded the Freedom of the Borough. A teacher from his old school, Spring Hill, was there and had taken the trouble to look in the archives for any reference to Ron. She also brought along two sporty kids from Spring Hill School who made a presentation to Ron and his wife. So good to be able to honour Ron in this way!
