Firefox add on - Collusion

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...don/collusion/

This is a Firefox add on in early stages of development.
It tells you which sites are tracking you.
I have downloaded and installed and see a display of such sites when I click on the Collusion icon.
My question to any other users -
..how do I stop them tracking?
..is it just a simple action as 'disable cookies'?
..or is there more to it?
