Queens Reopens!
Well, not just yet.....but apparently some bloke has been locked up inside this splendid Edwardian building for the last 3 years working to convert it back into a pub and its all about to reopen in the next few weeks.
It makes you think...what's going on in Church? For ten years, nowt happens and now all of a sudden we have a new park being built, two pubs about to reopen, waste land being cleared and to top it all, the billionaire Walker Brothers are relocating their global corporate HQ up Bridge St. Summat is happening and I think we should be told.

Re: Queens Reopens!
Perhaps some of the traffic lights have changed to green and people can now go through it

Re: Queens Reopens!
I used to spend a lot of time in the Queens back in the early eighties, it would be good to see it restored to its former glory

Re: Queens Reopens!
I spent a very good new years eve in the queens pack in 1995. Only time I have ever been out on NYE but it was good.

Re: Queens Reopens!
About time Seemed like a grand old building going to waste.Would be a good place for a future meet as well.....i'd only have to stagger down the road .All Church needs now is the Oak Tree to re-open and it'll be like the good old days

Re: Queens Reopens!
I'll let you know. I have just been summoned for a small libation in the Queens.
It will be good to sample a pint of the real stuff after drinking Aussie pish-water for a month.
