three buildings to be demolished

three buildings in market st church are to be demolished, numbers 3, 5, and 7 are to go later this year.
what about the rest? or is this just a start.

Cheek!!! I'm Church born and bred and, like other areas within Hyndburn, Church may not look great but it is far from being condemned. You may as well demolish the whole of East Lancs if you think that!

Used to live at No. 3 when I was a young lad..............it was a newsagents then that was run by my mum and dad.

The newsagents shop run by your parents at no3 would be i think Ken and Kathleen
Entwistle.They later moved across the road with the same business.

That is true but have you had a look what is behind them, not very pretty either.

my husband used to work with you dad Ken as a coach driver from 1965 onwards hows about that.

Looks like demolition has started on these properties in the past day or so. Went past today and there is scaffolding up at the front and the back of the buildings is down and no slates on the roof anymore.
