A while ago I said I had never taken photo's of old accy especially where I had lived. Recently I had gone past the old black and white works on hyndburn rd where I had worked in the late 60's early 70's, thinking that they where renovating the building I decided the next time I came i would take an image before it was changed completely, so armed with camera I returned to see it had gone (wrong again) did anyone get an image i've failed miserably again

Hi Tony,
Do you mean the building that until recently was G&A Plastics - sort of between the park and the car dealership? Sorry I don't have a picture of it but I too was surprised to see this morning a flattened site where the building once stood. Back in the 80's I was a postie in Accrington and the building was the first drop on my delivery.
Thanks for you replies I did not know what the firm or firms that followed black and white were called but your spot on with the location the arches without a photo i can only think where the loading bays
thanks
