Courts in Accrington.

Just to make your lives miserable,
heres a few Courts

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Courts.

Abbey Court, Angel Court, Angle Court, Anvil Court, Ashworth Court,
Astin Court, Baxter Court & Bond Court.

Think Astin Court was Manchester Road area, but that is as far as I can get.

Now then Retlaw, you are making me think and thats worrying!

I grew up in the Nuttall Street area of town. Leading off this street, block below the Britannia Pub, and taking you to the area behind and near Grange street was a "ginnel". On the other side of the street, facing the Star Pub, was another, but larger, "ginnel".
Now i think one of them was Angel Court, or could it have been Angle??????

You grew up, when?, any way your not far off, Angle Court was off 32 Nuttall St, so the other one was Angel.

Astin Court was at the rear of Langford St, Bax.
