Re: (S) Cryptic Clue

Right! Got it. It's at the top of Church Street/Cotton Street corner and I think it's part of Broughton Crangrove's factory/warehouse thingy building.

Re: (S) Cryptic Clue

Since it's a double coconut quiz, I really need all of it. But being a generous sort I will allow one for "Where".

Re: (S) Cryptic Clue

I'm confused. I thought the what was Broughton's and the where was top of Church Street before it wiggles round to Cotton Street.

I have no idea where the quercus wotsit comes in. I think Mez is aquainted with a tree (or was that Less?)

Re: (S) Cryptic Clue

You are both in the right area, mez is a bit off to the north though. What you are looking for is the meaning of the tree clue and why it might be relevant to the site in question.

No, ot's not accross from Barnes's. I was standing right there yesterday. The photo I took is a continuation of the same building. (note the railings)

It's just the tree clue which is puzzling me.

Re: (S) Cryptic Clue

Hang on a mo, didn't I get a cocnut for the what and where? I'm still wondering about the clue.

I did wonder if it was anything to do with Broad Oak and printing. That brings me to another point but to avoid a thread wander I'll start a new topic.
