Sure i noticed a for sale sign oer the Spread the other week,? funnily enough i had just left a funeral do and was talking to the Ex-Landlady Doreen, who i worked for in the 80s. that was what caused me to glance as i passed.

There was a Tanpits pub - a beer house. The Tanpits Club was in fact the Pioneer WMC but known as the Tanpits Club.
