What is known about this?
I noticed this interesting little item on ebay the other day. I have never heard of the firm before, does anyone have any ideas about them.

Interesting. That gives it a date between 1870-1910 and also the fact that it may have done more harm than good since the stuff was often made with cuttlefish bone or...Brick dust...plenty of that round here. Anyone know where Liptrot's had their premises?

I thought Liptrotts was a grocers, but not 100% sure. Will try and find out though.
