Flower power game

Try to find a bizarre description to suit a plant or tree.
e.g. -
Roses are communist
Violets are miserable
Mushrooms are agoraphobic

You can be obscure - as in -
Delphinium - a storage place for Knuzden old quarries

I hope for some amusing responses.

Got to agree there, Margaret!

'Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin.
Mathew, 6:25-34.

Cyclamen can make you vomit.

Can't resist the old one-'Roses grow on you'.

gooseberry is a grape with ideas above its station - and a fur coat!
(Sorry Margaret...I know a gooseberry isn't a flower...it was Guinness who lead me astray :))
