Talking 16% nitro fuel

Hello all not been any post in here for a while so thought i would try and spark an intrest again..
Ive been running my car in for about two years on and off inbetween it breaking etc, but was dissapointed in the speed that it went. It went fairly fast but you allways want more.
A freind suggested that i get some 16% nitro fuel and give it a try.....
WOOOOOW its like s### of a shovel now its gone from a robin reliant to an f1 car..
Does anybody out there still use there cars and what fuel do you use????

Re: 16% nitro fuel

hi there jus about to make the step up from battery tamiyas to nitro cars,as my tamiya gravel hound aint fast enuff for my dog now, some of u have said that 16% nitro makes your car go faster?whats it like on lubricating the engine though,i mean if it runs faster on 16% than 20% whats the downside to it?because isnt the % the mixture of fuel to oil on these things?little help please cos my mates tellin me that it hasnt got much oil in and cuts into the bore or something and its gona cost me £50 to get it sorted.think hes just annoyed cos he smashed up his hpi savage at weekend and i ripped him bout it.cheers dave

Re: 16% nitro fuel

i built my own nitro car rather than buying one so i knew the ins and outs of it all and i run mine in on 16% wouldnt use anything else ever 16% give u the best speed without sacrificing lubrication , and i think a nitro or electric car club would be fun we could jus pick a place to meet up all take our cars and have a run about i know a few lads with nitro cars would be up for it let me know what u think

im running a team infinity 18 engine on a condor buggy using 16% fuel

Please avoid residential areas - my sleep is sometimes disturbed by 'boy racers' in the early hours of Saturday mornings.

It is antisocial behaviour and gets reported.

Rather funny that, why bother with all these fuels when the fastest you can legally drive is 70mph and only 30mph around town
