A Nice Sunny Saturday Devoid of Conflict

The dahlias are out: two lovely blooms with many more buds, subtle smelling mauve sweet peas and the ever successful French Marigolds. Note that by force of arms we kept the frogs out of our green and pleasant land. We gave Napoleon nothing for free and our white shopkeepers kept their penny trays safely under the counter until the snotty schoolkids arrived, grubby penny in hand.
Think I'll make something with rice today: no, not curry, how a bout a school dinners' style rice pudding with a dollop of raspberry jam to top it all.
What can possibly go wrong today? Which gentle, lovely Accrington Web members can possibly want to shower poisonous barbs upon poor little innocent me?

Re: A Nice Sunny Saturday Devoid of Conflict

Saturday sucks ... cold, windy, decidedly raw, snow squalls ... no flowers, the birds are shivering, today I saw wolves within city limits, looking hungry and real po'd, It's a day for mindless tv, hash brownies, and JD straight up ... even the dog doesn't wanna go out. Scratch the tv ... I'll go for Haydn string quartets, or some Mahalia Jackson. That should get some positive energy going Although, with hash brownies and JD, I'm positive that there won't be too much energy happnin'.
