I think this site could be quite interesting to keep us all in touch with the type of crime that goes in our area and what the police are doing to combat it.

Rather than look on the comment as abrupt I would say the poster has a very valid point. Spend what monies that are available getting the cops back on the streets!!!! We don't need maps to tell us that crime is rife we need to see that something positive is being done about it.

Did take a look though, to see what it said about crime and public nuisance in the area I recently left...seems there wasn't any according to that, and probably the worst area in Peel after Royds St area.  Main reason I left. Maybe if they responded to residents complaints more often it might help.
