Can't help but feel sorry for the residents on the east side of this road where the parking restrictions are being applied for (although noticed in the last few weeks, no-one has parked on this side when I have been going to wokr).
Parking on both sides of Blackburn Road does narrow it; you have to stop to allow other cars in the opposite direction to get through, however, the application is for no parking 0800 > 1800 hrs Mon>Frid and no restrictions at weekend. Think during the week more of a nightmare than none at all !
Always wondering if you can get up and move your car before 8 a.m. and circling round after work until 6 p.m. Would take over a big part of your life methinks.
Anyone else with this problem ?

Don't know Panther, would have to go and view the plans I suppose .. suspect wouldn't be taking the whole of Vine Mill over .. says Vine Mill/Brookside Industrial Estate.
Thought myself at first would be some sort of competition to Ossy Mills, but seems to be more specialised than that, focusing on artists who wish to show off their paintings and, as well as their online facilities.

Re: Planning Appications
Think the furniture store withdrew from Vine Mill twelve months ago Panther.
This company will be taking up the whole of Vine Mill, and is quite a large project.
Nowt terribly exciting this week, Daniel Thwaites applying for smoking/paved areas for two of their pubs. Royal Oak, Ossie and Bay Horse, Bash.
Station application registered.
Essentials (tile people, King Street) application for part of their building to Cafe ?
Getting worried, think I am becoming an Anorak

Re: Planning Appications
I too enjoy reading through the planning applications.
Anyone know anything about the application for a gallery and cafe at Vine Mill in Oswaldtwistle, which was in the Observer the other week?

Thanks for reminding me last night to look up this company.
It'll be great if they open an art gallery/cafe in the old Vine Mill.
I'm a bit confused though, as I can't see there online gallery, unless I'm being a bit thick.
