A fly in your eye

We've all done it! Surreptitiously wiped the tear away disguised as a cough, a yawn, the need for a pee or a mythical fly in your eye.

So what film always has you pretending to the significant other that you ain't bawling like a baby?

I always bawl like a baby to the music crescendo at the end of 'The Right Stuff' as Gordo takes off and Chuck Yeager emerges bloody and burnt from the wreck of his test plane...totally wimp out every single time I watch the final scene of The Last of the Mohicans

Himself always cries at the sad stuff. Call the midwife.....Little House on the Prairie,
Ghost Town......if it has anything sad in it he's there bawling.
When it was Sport relief and they showed an old chap who had lost his wife to Alzheimers disease - the chap on the screen was silently weeping...himself came out in sympathy with him.
Me? I'm not telling. I am much more likely to weep at something I am reading.

The closing scene of Shane, when the little boy keeps calling for Shane to return. It gets me every time. Blub, blub.

Chocolat, because when my little dog Reggie was on his last days and very weak we cuddled up to watch it on the settee. Your setting me off thinking about it now!

Did anyone see the interview on This Morning earlier this week with the lady who had cochlear implants done & could hear for the first time after 40 years of living in a silent world - amazing, brought a lump to my throat for sure

For anyone who didn't see it, it's probably this one.
