Bill last episode to be shown next week.

Well I suppose most people know that The Bill is coming to the end of the road next week...

The Bill: ITV drops police drama after 27 years | Media | guardian.co.uk

I think it's due to massive fall in ratings - shame it's coming off the air though.

They changed the format years ago to turn it into serious crime drama (something we're desperately short of) and gain more viewers.

Ironically, that's when I stopped watching.
