Eastenders

I'm not a big fan of Eastenders and with my northern routes I dont think it compares to Corrie however I watched Thursdays episode with the fire in the Vic hopefully and the fire spreads to the rest of the square

I thought the acting particularly from Barbara Windsor was aweful and although some of the special effects were ok the episode was totally unreal

anybody else share my views

Yes. I agree. I thought the actors were given some ludicrous situations and dialogue to deal with, and the final result was just ridiculous.

Contrast it with Friday's episode of Coronation Street. The scene where little Simon confessed to his dad about the fight was totally believable. Such fantastic acting from a smashing little 6 year old lad.

Burn the lot of the miserable moaners.

Real life Cock-er-knees are much wittier, sharper, and funnier than the writers of this dirge realise.

I agree, G. have frequented lots of pubs in the smoke over the years, stayed regularly in a few of um, but the regulars were never a set off miserable gits like they are in the Queen Vic

yeah Flashy I had the same impression that she was gonna be a goner - so to speak. It's obvious they are keeping it open so that she can return for a few specials, should the need be!?

I find all the climaxes to stories very unbelievable. For example when Denis was kidnapped by her husband and it turned out to be in the next door house - I mean that's just total non-sense as there was one part where she was screaming, now for someone to scream that loud in the next door house surely someone would have heard it in real life?

I think Peggy leaving the square is perhaps a signal that we should all leave it - permanantly! What do you think of Alfie and Kat coming back?
