Preston Passion

I thoroughly enjoyed the Preston Passion shown live on Good Friday from Preston Bus Station. Well done to the BBC for their presentation and to the participants

The 3 short stories were very moving demonstrating aspects o the Easter story through the ages

the emotion of the stories was evident - well done Preston

I Enjoyed the live bits but thought the dramas broke it up too much - the whole programme was very bitty. And the BBC really pushed the boat out with props didn't they? Several metres of cheap red and white fabric - Wow!!

One reason I didn't enjoy the dramas was that in at least two of them there was a constant hum of "suspenseful" background music which made it difficult to hear what was being said.

It was all a bit touchy feely for me but the end tableau was quite moving. And the people of Preston seemed to be enjoying themselves despite looking frozen!
