Tapatalk makes browsing the forum on your smartphone much quicker than using your built in browser as it only needs to download small amounts of data and doesn't have to build a page.

AccringtonWeb is now available using the Tapatalk Forum Browser on the following systems:

iPhone: Read Only (free) Tapatalk Forum App for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the iTunes App Store
iPhone: Full Functionality (paid, but well worth it) Tapatalk Forum App for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the iTunes App Store

Android: Search Marketplace or zap this QR Code for Quick Download http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?c...t.com/qr/59344

Windows Phone 7: Using Board Express here: Board Express ? Tapatalk for Windows Phone 7

BlackBerry: You can download it using OTA (Over-The-Air) method by clicking on this link in the Blackberry Browser Download Tapatalk for BlackBerry.

Nokia: Download from the OVI store Ovi Store: Tapatalk - Forum Client

Well, the free one is supposed to be read only so not much use to a frequent poster such as you,

I'm having a quick play with it, (the app that is before Jaysay reads this).
.

I wonder if you'll be able to mod' quicker with it?

I find the "iphone" theme works well on Android ( Dell Streak ) phones although it doesn't seem to have a go to unread posts option unlike the mobile theme

Tapatalk is only £2 on Android Ian, the free version works fine for reading threads.

I still use full web version on my HTC Desire as I am used to it and I can use the mod functions still. Everything works as it should on Android 2.2, 2.1 had a few issues with drop down menus I found.

Try the link below for Tapatalk Pro on Android handsets:

Tapatalk Forum App (Pro) Free Android App

It is totally free, and allows you to post, edit, etc, and all the other functions that you can do on a forum site, as long as the site in question is Tapatalk compatible - as this one is.

I couldn't find a version for an Iphone, sorry, but have a look on the mobile24 website, and see if you can get a version for your own handset.

Tapatalk has now been upgraded on AccyWeb, several new features so I suggest if you have a smartphone to check it out again.

Have avoided getting this app as smartphones have full browsers so I thought: what's the point?

Finally took the plunge and I think it's great!

Re: Tapatalk Mobile Browser

If you pay for mobile broadband tapatalk downloads less data so you will use less of your allowance or it will cost you less if you pay for what you use. Its quicker and easier on a small screen as well.

They don't do it for Nokia's yet I don't think.

Have a look at the tapatalk website here http://www.tapatalk.com/mobile.php

I get a lot of free internet a month with the thing i'm on, i don't use much of it so i suppose it doesn't really matter, i don't even use half of my free allowance

andrewb 03-05-2011 15:49

I have an unlimited allowance so am not using it to save on that.. I just think its an easier interface to deal with on a small screen.
