Twitchy finger syndrome, I get that when nursing a hangover and double click rather than single click on one of the menu's.

It should only happen if you click the search feature twice in quick succession. Are you sure you are not leaving your finger on the button too long?

You're not alone, Stanleymad.

I've had this message for months now every time I click today's posts....no twitchy fingers involved here either.

I don't know what to do about it so I've just been putting up with it.

Very annoying though.

Is waiting 10 seconds really an issue ?

Maybe I have more time on my hands than many

It all adds up, Bonnyboy.

Ten seconds here, ten seconds there....I shall be spending months in total waiting for today's posts.

Like I said, I just put up with it because I don't know what to do about it....it's just annoying.

Re: Constant 10 sec wait messages

It still does it for me in IE. It only does it when I do the quick links, todays posts. I have a book mark set as
Code:
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/search.php?do=getdaily
When I click the bookmark it never does it. I try and remember when at work to use the bookmark and not the quick link like I do at home. When i forget I still get the wait 10 seconds message
