Problem with attachments on IE8?
Message: No such interface supported
Line: 11 Char: 10896 Code: 0 URI: http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/c...lobal.js?v=381 Any ideas on above? Just installed IE8 and cannot click the attachments icon when posting - nothing happens and it comes up with error on page at the bottom left and when double clicking for details I get the above message.... Dont give me any unhelpful rubbish replies like use Firefox or Ubuntu or Mac or Linux please... Jimbo T  blower

There are still a lot of problems with IE8 so i would not install it yet
untill all the bugs are sorted out. go back to IE7 |

I hadn't realised IE8 was out already. I've had a quick look on the vbulletin support forums and there seems to be a few issues with it. I've been trying to install it here for the last 3 hours and still haven't managed it though! Does it come through auto update or what? I seem to have pulled in 30-40 updates but still no IE8.
Once I get it I'll look into the issue. |

Wasnt an update - I just downloaded it from Microsoft.
If its still buggy I will roll back to IE7 - thanks... Jimbo

Just to update you. False alarm. Uninstalled IE8 and reinstalled it and now attachments are working fine - pops up and loads the upload window no problem so must have been a corrupt installation.
