I am very interested in people and the world around us, especially the young, old and vulnerable, I grew up in the countryside near Preston and moved to the Accrington area when I married a lifetime ago, it makes me sad the way the local council has destroyed accrington over the past years and I often wonder do the town planners actually live here and do they drive, as you can see i'm one of those old grumpy women who grumble away but never does any thing about the larger picture, just got on with working, raising children, helping people where & when i could and holding my life together through some pretty tough times, and now i'm looking fwd to reading and hearing whats happening around and about.

don't worry i'm not a miserable old buzzard, I just get carried away on matters to do with authority, when they appear to have no emphathy or commonsense in relation to others. I am hoping to enjoy the fun side of the site thanks, have a good day
