thankyou for allowing me into your group.i now live in Leeds but am always interested in local affairs.A long shot request but does anyone know of a lady called Anne Whittaker (her maiden name) who lived on New Lane in Oswaldtwistle in the late 60's & 70's.

Post this again in the Lost Friends section, Robert. Give more detail - her age ? workplace?> school? parents' names? No New Lane Whittakers in the BT phone book
