Hello!
I'm a new member and thought I'd introduce myself and say hello. I moved to the Baxenden area from Blackburn eight years ago, I really enjoy living here and I love the sense of community I've found throughout the Hyndburn area. I've visited the Accyweb website quite a bit, I find the old photographs fascinating and comparing them to now.
I'm really looking forward to being part of the site - so hello everyone!  |

Assuming that your name isn't linked to your (lack of) marital status, do you know that the name originates in a village in the Fylde, close to Poulton le Fylde? |

Singleton is my maiden name, my dad's fond of the whisky you mentioned! And I believe my uncle traced the family tree a long time ago and got the family back to Singleton Hall - I've been through the village many times it's a lovely place. And whisky's one of my favourite alcoholic drinks so I might take you up on the offer!
