Hello to all
Hi,
My name is Paul Birtwistle and I live now in Hertfordshire having travelled the world extensively.[Sometimes wonder why I keep ending up back here ] . Over the years I have researched my family history which goes back to 1120 and is around the Accrington area. My ancestors lived at Huncote [Huncoat] Hall and I would love to get it back into the family. We have an uncle in New Zealand who played rugby for the All Blacks in 1966. Sir Harrison Birtwistle is a composer although I have to say whilst I love all types of music his takes a lot of getting used to. We also have Sue who is a casting director for the Beeb and another Sue who played hockey for England. There must be loads more which keeps me going in my research. I spent last Christmas at Dunkenhaugh Hotel which holds the deeds to Huncote. Well enough of my family,I am looking forward to getting involved in the community and chatting to you all eventually.
