janet wilson nee redfearn

Hello everyone
I'm an old Accringtonian. I visit the town regularly and I still love it. I went to St Christopher's School 1961-9 If there's anyone out there that remembers me I would be pleased to chat.
I'm researching the towns history which I am finding fascinating. And so I will be making regular visits to the library. Janet Wilson nee Redfearn

Women are like tea bags. You never know how strong they are going to be until you dunk them in boiling water and stir them around a few times.

When researching local history, there is no substitute for hours spent in the library looking at books and papers. I welcome this, your first posting, Janet ,after being a member on here for 7yrs.Introduce yourself to John Simpson in the library - he is a fund of knowledge and will be a great help.-
