Minute's Silence at Cables last night
Hi everybody - Prescot Cables' webmaster here.
Before the match last night there was a minute's silence for the 18 year old boy murdered in Huyton (two miles from Prescot) last Friday. It was impeccably observed by everyone in the ground, so I thought I'd drop by to thank all of your supporters who were there. On a slightly different subject, you may have heard about Michael Shields, another 18 year old, who was imprisoned in Bulgaria last week for attempted murder, two days after the guilty person confessed. Hello and welcome Cables. I will most certainly sign your petition. The Bulgarian authorities are not happy with all of the publicity about this case, as they think that it makes their justice system look bad... DAMN RIGHT it does....
