birthday venue ideas...please !
 
right folks,
I have to arrange/sort out my other halfs 30th birthday..its not till december but I wanna get it sorted soon cos it will be going into chrimbo season come the time..and alot of places may be booked up by then..
anyway where can I book thats pretty good...I dont really wanna do the cricket club thing so get your thinking caps on...
haslingden/accrington/blackburn(ish)...where ???

wheres good for a do..?
wheres not ?
who's reasonably priced ?
who's not ?

dont know the prices mate, but DO know, be very careful if you book a disco,or artist- book early enough, agree the price,then cross yer fingers, have known quite a few folk be let down in december, some will take an higher offer n not even tell you. i was called many times at last min to see if i was available to cover this.;)

it depends what you want g/g & how many you invite ............there is the platts club on blackburn rd accrington ..its an upstairs room & very nice,

also there's the accrington stanley club room too.

what about clayton le moors con club.

just a few for you .......& i agree with cashy book the d/j soon .

I don't know if they still do it but the Observatory near the hospital in Blackburn used to do a deal where you get the room and meal and DJ all in one. It's not huge but it is/was nice.

phil at the stanley in accy has a good function room and good dj he will cater for you our you can get your own

Again as Mez said it depends on how many you invite but the oaklea has a refurbished function room upstairs..and I'm sure they do catering for parties too...ask accyjay on here :)

oops made a boo boo .....forgot about oaklea tavern, but the upstairs function room is lovely & i know our kate & jay will look after you .
