The Hapton Inn is my local. I noticed the lights were on as I was passing last night at 8:30 so I parked up and had a peek through the window. Two guys were busy cleaning and tidying up. No refurbishment work appears to have been carried out. It's been closed for about seven weeks, no one I have spoken to has an idea what's happening but because of recent activity its hopeful that they are about to re-open soon. Fingers crossed.

It no doubt will be if its been closed for the last eight weeks.

Why do you say that Max? Michelle the last manager did an excellent job, she turned the place around. It was busier than I've seen it in years when it closed. I believe it was impossible to make it work because of the high rent charges.
