Rumors?

Apparently Lidl has been knocked down?

This really true?

And apparently the owner of Accrington Conservative Club has submitted a planning application to pull it down.
Anyone know anything about this?

Lidl's is closed for alterations and is supposed to be re-opening next April.

Homebase is slated for closure. Lidl'd be better waiting and buying that site to be closer to the town centre.

That's true.
But why are homebase closing? It's a good store to have. Maybe b&q or wikes will buy it.

I'm going to be coming back to a ghost town at the rate things are closing in accrington.
