Life lessons
What's the most important life lesson, you’ve learned, and you would like to pass on?
Lead by example, help when you can, life is a gift dont throw it away all are lessons I wish I'd stuck to :D The most important, and the one I'd like to pass on, is don't waste your time wishing you had what others seem to have...Just be grateful for what you've got... ....What's yours? |
Re: Life lessons
N.L.T.B.G.Y.D. is easily the best i ever learnt.;)

Re: Life lessons
This is a hard question.
The answer changes as you mature. I think that mine would have to be... You are unique...just be yourself.....but a close second would have to be .....Avoid getting into debt, if you can't pay for it, then you can't have it. |
Re: Life lessons
Always treat people as you would like to be treated and remember no one is better than you but you are no better than anyone else.

Re: Life lessons
Shi-ite happens! :o (I can personally vouch for this as I sit here, having to type left handed as my right arms strapped up in some kind of restraining sling)

Re: Life lessons
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, (including this minor attempt at wisdom).

Re: Life lessons
Simple answer, fell off the back of me truck (not one I was blagging from Mr.Yates! :D) and fortunately/unfortunately landed with all my considerable 98kg directly on my right shoulder, one of those "Ouch" moments in life. :o

Re: Life lessons
Ooh.....nasty. Hope it gets better soon.

Re: Life lessons
That just goes to show that all lessons in life have to be paid for.....sometimes with pain sometimes with money.....and if you are really unlucky.....both!
|
Re: Life lessons
Sorry to hear about your accident, DinG. Hope you recover soon. That's a painful lesson you've just learnt - don't fall off the back of a truck.

Re: Life lessons
Seize the moment.
In other words, if you have an opportunity - be it to study, to go abroad, to do something that you are unlikely to get to do again or in later life - then do it, take the opportunity and get yourself some new memories. |
